Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user.","state":0,"publishedAt":"2026-10-18T18:51:06.543+00:00","modifiedAt":"2026-10-19T20:20:15.46+00:00","affected":[{"ecosystem":"Vendor product","name":"gitea.dev","ranges":[],"versions":[],"rawVersionEvidence":"{\n                    \"vendor\": \"Gitea\",\n                    \"product\": \"Gitea\",\n                    \"packageName\": \"gitea.dev\",\n                    \"defaultStatus\": \"unaffected\",\n                    \"versions\": [\n                        {\n                            \"version\": \"0\",\n                            \"status\": \"affected\",\n                            \"lessThanOrEqual\": \"28.1.0\",\n                            \"versionType\": \"semver\"\n                        }\n                    ]\n                }"}],"metrics":[],"references":["https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/security/advisories/GHSA-mf69-7pqq-86vx","https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/39642","https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/39744","https://blog.gitea.com/release-of-28.2.0/","https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/releases/tag/v28.2.0"],"sourceUrl":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-104627","license":"CVE Program Terms of Use","key":"cve-program:CVE-2026-104627","identifiers":["CVE-2026-104627"]},"retained":false,"historicalAffected":[]}],"coverage":[]}
