An authenticated low-privileged user with `Execute`, or `Read` plus `Logs`, permission on a managed server can supply shell metacharacters in a container name processed by the `DestroyContainer` or `SearchContainerLog` operations. The container name is interpolated without escaping into a command executed using `sh -c`, allowing arbitrary commands to execute as root on the managed host. This permits a user without Komodo's `Terminal` permission to obtain unrestricted host-level command execution.","state":0,"publishedAt":"2026-10-13T19:23:52.191+00:00","modifiedAt":"2026-10-20T17:48:06.015+00:00","affected":[{"ecosystem":"Vendor product","name":"Komodo","ranges":[],"versions":[],"rawVersionEvidence":"{\n                    \"vendor\": \"Komodo\",\n                    \"product\": \"Komodo\",\n                    \"versions\": [\n                        {\n                            \"status\": \"affected\",\n                            \"version\": \"1.19.1\",\n                            \"lessThan\": \"2.3.0\",\n                            \"versionType\": \"custom\"\n                        }\n                    ]\n                }"}],"metrics":[],"references":["https://github.com/moghtech/komodo"],"sourceUrl":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-110005","license":"CVE Program Terms of Use","key":"cve-program:CVE-2026-110005","identifiers":["CVE-2026-110005"]},"retained":false,"historicalAffected":[]}],"coverage":[]}
