This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload executes when an administrator visits the DiviGear > Activation settings page, where the unsanitized stored value is echoed unescaped into a single-quoted HTML value attribute.","state":0,"publishedAt":"2026-10-20T06:54:42.377+00:00","modifiedAt":"2026-10-20T13:46:41.73+00:00","affected":[{"ecosystem":"Vendor product","name":"DiviGear Carousel","ranges":[],"versions":[],"rawVersionEvidence":"{\n                    \"vendor\": \"Divigear\",\n                    \"product\": \"DiviGear Carousel\",\n                    \"versions\": [\n                        {\n                            \"version\": \"0\",\n                            \"status\": \"affected\",\n                            \"lessThanOrEqual\": \"5.2.0\",\n                            \"versionType\": \"semver\"\n                        }\n                    ],\n                    \"defaultStatus\": \"unaffected\"\n                }"}],"metrics":[{"system":"CVSS 3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.4,"severity":"MEDIUM"}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/f482cda1-fe38-455a-b913-bebb21b7bda4?source=cve","https://www.divigear.com/"],"sourceUrl":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-93878","license":"CVE Program Terms of Use","key":"cve-program:CVE-2026-93878","identifiers":["CVE-2026-93878"]},"retained":false,"historicalAffected":[]}],"coverage":[]}
