Configure the content and order of preferred languages

Computer and userIntune-readyForcedLanguages

Supported on Microsoft Windows 7 or later

What it does

This policy allows admins to configure the order of the preferred languages in Brave's settings. The order of the list will appear in the same order under the "Order languages based on your preference" section in chrome://settings/languages. Users won't be able to remove or reorder languages set by the policy, but will be able to add languages underneath those set by the policy. Users will also have full control over the browser's UI language and translation/spell check settings, unless enforced by other policies. Leaving the policy unset lets users manipulate the entire list of preferred languages. Example value: en-US

  • Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
  • The generated payload is incomplete because one or more ADMX element values were not supplied: ForcedLanguagesDesc
