Data layers
ChangeIntel works with public knowledge alone. Private layers are separate, explicit opt-ins, and each one stays off until an administrator enables it.
Public Microsoft knowledge
Roadmap changes, Windows KB and build release tables, MSRC monthly release notes, and Windows and security blogs. No sign-in, tenant, or device access is needed.

Microsoft article text
By default the portal shows facts, titles, short attributed quotes, and its own summaries, and links to Microsoft for full text. An internal host can opt in to keep plain-text copies of KB support articles and known-issue workarounds for its staff. Microsoft's terms do not allow reposting their documents publicly, so a public demo refuses this setting at startup.

Your Microsoft 365 tenant
Message Center notices and Service Health incidents from your own tenant, shown next to the public stream to signed-in readers only.
- Read-only Graph access with admin-consented permissions
- Visible only to users assigned the reader role
- Requires the Internal host profile and Entra sign-in
Device evidence
Imported Windows Update and assessment evidence from ComputerX and TestimoX would show which of your machines report a KB as installed, pending, or missing. The web host never queries devices itself.
