What it does
Configures the directory that Brave will use for storing user data. If you set this policy, Brave will use the provided directory regardless whether the user has specified the '--user-data-dir' flag or not. To avoid data loss or other unexpected errors this policy should not be set to a directory used for other purposes, because Brave manages its contents. See https://support.google.com/chrome/a?p=Supported_directory_variables for a list of variables that can be used. If this policy is left not set the default profile path will be used and the user will be able to override it with the '--user-data-dir' command line flag. Example value: ${users}/${user_name}/Chrome

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
- The generated payload is incomplete because one or more ADMX element values were not supplied: UserDataDir
