Automatic Maintenance Activation Boundary

ComputerNative Intune settingActivationBoundaryPolicy

Supported on At least Windows Server 2012, Windows 8 or Windows RT

What it does

This policy setting allows you to configure Automatic Maintenance activation boundary. The maintenance activation boundary is the daily schduled time at which Automatic Maintenance starts If you enable this policy setting, this will override the default daily scheduled time as specified in Security and Maintenance/Automatic Maintenance Control Panel. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, the daily scheduled time as specified in Security and Maintenance/Automatic Maintenance Control Panel will apply.

These deployment candidates come from the ADMX template; they are separate from the native CSP mapping above.

  • The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
  • Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
