Control Panel › Personalization
Prohibit selection of visual style font size
Supported on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 only
What it does
Prevents users from changing the size of the font in the windows and buttons displayed on their screens. If this setting is enabled, the "Font size" drop-down list on the Appearance tab in Display Properties is disabled. If you disable or do not configure this setting, a user may change the font size using the "Font size" drop-down list on the Appearance tab.
What it writes
- Hive
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER
- Registry key
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System- Value name
NoSizeChoice- When enabled
- DWORD 1
- When disabled
- value removed
Why it needs changes for Intune
- Policy references a Windows supportedOn definition.
- ADMX-INTUNE-WINDOWS-SUPPORTEDON-REFERENCE

These deployment candidates come from the ADMX template; they are separate from the native CSP mapping above.
- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
