Configure dynamic lock factors

ComputerNeeds changes for IntuneMSPassport_UseDynamicLock

Supported on At least Windows 10

What it does

Configure a comma separated list of signal rules in the form of xml for each signal type. If you enable this policy setting, these signal rules will be evaluated to detect user absence and automatically lock the device. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, users can continue to lock with existing locking options. For more information see: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=849684

What it writes

Why it needs changes for Intune
  • Policy references a Windows supportedOn definition.

In Intune

No native CSP; import the ADMX (needs changes first).

  • The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
  • Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
