No code path reads installer secrets, environment variables, or filesystem contents, and no outbound network call to an attacker-controlled destination is present. The keyword co-occurrence matched by the rule is consistent with ordinary bundled UI code (e.g., WebSocket keep-alive 'ping'/'pong' messages or similar UI logic) rather than a command-execution or exfiltration path. No install-time or import-time side effects, no lifecycle scripts fetching remote content, and no credential-handling behavior were observed. ## Source: ghsa-malware (fb5c18734e8db92923153cc8bbf81fe90bcb53d5fe9d17a7640014d51e165dbc) Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
