What an administrator sets up

  • Run the host in Internal mode with team sign-in, and assign the ChangeIntel.TeamMember role to people who may post.
  • Set TeamState__DatabasePath to a persistent SQLite path; notices are stored there through DbaClientX.
  • Set HostProfile__TeamNoticesEnabled=true. Notices are visible to signed-in team members and readers; HostProfile__TeamNoticesVisibility=Everyone shows them to every visitor of an intranet-only host and adds an RSS feed for Teams or Outlook.
