What the notice says

Microsoft’s text, with source markup removed
We are announcing the ability to use financial tags for project sales orders and journals in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on June 6, 2025. How does this affect me? Financial tags let organizations track user-defined fields on accounting entries posted to the general ledger, eliminating the need to create financial dimensions that contain values that aren't reusable. The financial tag values can be used for reporting purposes. For example, you can create a financial tag to track time and expenses related to an initiative without requiring a unique financial dimension. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness and no action is required. For more information on this feature, please review Use financial tags for project sales orders and journals. Additional documentation for this feature will be published prior to the general availability date in the feature management section of Dynamics 365 Project Operations. From there, select the feature name and click the 'Learn more' link.
