Introduction We’re retiring the Team Guidance feature in Microsoft Places. This feature allowed managers to set in-office team days and priorities. When this will happen August 27, 2025: Announcement phase begins September 29, 2025: Read-only phase begins November 3, 2025: Retirement phase begins; feature fully removed How this affects your organization During the phased retirement: Starting August 27, 2025: Users will see a banner in the Team Guidance UI notifying them of the upcoming retirement. After September 29, 2025: Users will no longer be able to create or edit Team Guidance entries. Viewing and deleting existing entries will still be possible. Starting November 3, 2025: Team Guidance and Workgroups will be removed from Microsoft Places. Users will no longer have access to Team Guidance.
