Power Apps – Information regarding the end of support for Image to App & Figma to App features

From Microsoft 365 Message Center Archive by Merill Fernando · Microsoft may not have sent this notice to your tenant.

What the notice says

Microsoft’s text, safely structured

Starting October 21, 2025, we will begin deprecating the Image to App and Figma to App features in Power Apps (Canvas Apps). These features allow users to create apps from images or Figma designs.

How does this affect me? After October 21, 2025, users will no longer be able to create new apps using these entry points. Existing apps created using these features will continue to be supported. No other functionality is affected. What do I need to do to prepare? No immediate action is required. Users can continue to create new apps using alternative options, including Generative Pages in Model Apps, and Plan Designer with image attachments. Makers can also use third-party and community tool plugins to bring external designs into Power Apps.
