Enhanced M365 Copilot Memory - Copilot is now personalized with work data

What and Why: Copilot now uses inferences Microsoft 365 data as context to provide more personalized responses to your work. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 551195 Rollout Schedule: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out on early October 2026 and expect to complete by late October 2026. Impact on Your Organization: Inferences from Microsoft 365 data will be used to provide Copilot additional context for more personalized responses. To disable Copilot from using inferences generated from Microsoft 365 work data ("Work insight") users can disable the "Chat History and Work Insights" toggle in Settings > Personalization Admins can disable this setting with the enhancedPersonalizationSettingadmin control. Action Required/Recommendations: No additional work is required from the admin.
