Microsoft Edge
Launch Microsoft Edge on Windows startup
Supported on Microsoft Edge version 153, Windows 7 or later
What it does
Setting the policy lets you control whether Microsoft Edge automatically launches visibly when Windows starts. If you enable this policy, Microsoft Edge will launch visibly automatically when Windows starts. If you disable this policy, Microsoft Edge will never launch visibly automatically when Windows starts. If you don't configure this policy, Microsoft Edge won't launch automatically when Windows starts by default. Users are periodically shown an opt-in banner to turn it on, and can enable or disable automatic launch anytime from settings.

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
