What it does

Lets you specify whether Copilot can be installed using Microsoft Edge Update. If you enable (1) this policy, users can install Copilot through Microsoft Edge Update. If you disable (0) this policy (or set it to 'Installs disabled'), users can't install Copilot through Microsoft Edge Update. If you set the policy to Force Installs (Machine-Wide) (5), Copilot will be installed to all machines where Microsoft Edge Update is preinstalled. Requires Microsoft Edge Update 1.3.251.9 or higher. If you don't configure this policy, users can install Copilot through Microsoft Edge Update.
