Microsoft Copilot Update

Allow Copilot Unification

ComputerIntune-readyNew in 151.0.4129.86RemovedPol_CopilotUnificationAllowedMicrosoftCopilot

Supported on Microsoft Edge Update 1.3.251.9 and later

Shown as of 151.0.4129.86, 14 Aug 2026. See it in the latest templates.

What it does

Lets you specify whether the Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot applications can be unified using Microsoft Edge Update. If you enable (1) this policy, the Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot applications will be unified the next time Microsoft Edge Update automatically checks for updates. If you disable (0) this policy, or don't configure this policy, the Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot applications will be unified according to the standard rollout. This policy is supported only on Windows devices that are joined to a Microsoft® Active Directory® domain.

  • Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
