Supported on Microsoft Edge Update 1.3.251.9 and later

Shown as of 151.0.4129.86, 14 Aug 2026. See it in the latest templates.

What it does

Specifies which Copilot update channel to use. This policy controls which update channel Copilot will follow. If you enable this policy, Copilot will be updated to the channel you configure: Stable: Updated to the latest stable version. Beta: Updated to the latest beta version. If you disable or don't configure this policy, Copilot will update to the latest version available for the stable channel. This policy is supported only on Windows devices that are joined to a Microsoft® Active Directory® domain.
