What it does

Specifies which Microsoft Edge update channel to use This policy controls which update channel Microsoft Edge will follow. If you enable this policy, Microsoft Edge will be updated to the channel you configure: - Stable: Updated to the latest stable version. - Beta: Updated to the latest beta version. - Dev: Updated to the latest dev version. - Extended Stable: Updated to the latest extended stable version, which follows a longer release cadence than Stable. For more information, visit https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2163508. If you disable or don't configure this policy, Microsoft Edge will update to the latest version available for the default channel. This policy is supported only on Windows devices that are joined to a Microsoft® Active Directory® domain.
