Control Remix availability

Computer and userIntune-readyNew in 156.0.4314.42RemixAvailability

Supported on Microsoft Edge version 156, Windows 7 or later

What it does

This policy allows your organization to control whether users can pin and use Remix in Microsoft Edge. If you set this policy to 'Disabled', Remix is unavailable. The Remix setting is disabled, Remix isn't shown on the toolbar, and users can't launch Remix from another entry point. If you set this policy to 'Force enabled', Remix is available. The Remix setting is enabled and pinned to the toolbar. Users can't disable or remove it from the toolbar. Unlike availability policies that expose a 'User controlled' value, this policy uses the unconfigured state for user choice. If you don't configure this policy, users can choose whether Remix is pinned to the toolbar. Policy options mapping: * Disabled (0) = Disable Remix * ForceEnabled (1) = Force Enable Remix Use the preceding information when configuring this policy.

  • The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
  • Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
  • The generated payload is incomplete because one or more ADMX element values were not supplied: RemixAvailability
