Microsoft Project 2016 › Project Options › General › General options for 'Project1'
Automatically add new resources and tasks
Supported on SUPPORTED_Windows7 (defined in the Windows templates)
What it does
Automatically adds new resources to the resource pool and assigns them default values whenever a new resource name or new resource's initials are added. If you enable this setting, new resources and tasks are automatically inserted into the project. If you disable this setting, users are alerted whenever a new resource or task is created when making a new assignment. If you do not configure this setting, the user's default setting is used.
What it writes

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
