Microsoft Project 2016 › Project Options › Schedule › Scheduling options for 'Project1'
New tasks are effort driven
Supported on SUPPORTED_Windows7 (defined in the Windows templates)
What it does
This policy setting specifies that new tasks are scheduled such that the work on the task remains constant as you add or remove assignments. If you enable this policy setting, new tasks will be effort-driven. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, new tasks will not be effort-driven.

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
