Microsoft Office 2016 › Help
Federated search for help
Supported on SUPPORTED_Windows7 (defined in the Windows templates)
What it does
This policy setting allows you to determine the sources of content that Office users in your organization can access through Office Help (F1). If you enable or do not configure this policy setting, users who utilize Office Help see content from both Office and the Internet. If you disable this setting, Office users’ search results through Help are limited to Office content.

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
