Dispatchers then have to find the correct assignment, interpret the report, update the booking and work order, and copy important closeout details into Field Service. This manual process delays operational visibility, creates inconsistent service history, and can leave completed bookings or work orders open.
Using the subcontractor's service report to prepare the complete closeout gives service teams a faster and more consistent way to reconcile external work. Booking state, work-order status, and the details of the completed visit can be reviewed together before the internal records are updated.
