Dynamics 365 Commerce: Add multiple items to a transaction using bulk entry

Associates can trigger the Bulk add operation from the button grid on the transaction screen in Store Commerce. A drawer-based dialog opens where associates can paste or enter multiple item number and quantity pairs, with one pair specified per line.

Supported formats include SKU x quantity, quantity x SKU, SKU quantity, quantity SKU, or SKU only (which defaults the quantity to 1).

Multiple item number and quantity pairs can also be entered on a single line and separated by spaces or commas.

Supported delimiters between item numbers and quantities include x, spaces, commas, and tab characters for Microsoft Excel paste scenarios. Input can also follow a CSV structure.

Select Add to sale to process all items in a single operation.

The system parses the input, resolves each item, and adds the items to the transaction. If an item requires variant selection, such as size or color, the variant selection dialog is displayed inline.

Feedback and error handling

Success : The dialog closes and a confirmation message indicates that all items were added successfully.
