This feature extends the E-Documents framework to support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), which enables organizations to exchange business documents electronically with vendors and partners using widely adopted industry standards. Key capabilities include:

Leverage the existing E-Documents framework as a unified platform for managing electronic document exchange.

Enable organizations to send and receive structured business documents without relying on paper-based or manual processes.

Exchange documents using Peppol BIS 3, which is an often used for electronic procurement and invoicing, but also opened for adding new formats based on local or customer standards.

Support order exchange, and sending remitannce advices, and is open for additional document types.
