Dynamics 365 Project Operations: Optimize Project Operations - Assign task level schedule mode for precise planning
This feature provides an experience to change the task schedule mode on the Customizable task details pane . To enable this feature, from project parameters select Enable Customize Task Pane . When enabled through feature control, this functionality lets you: Set a task level schedule mode on the Customizable task details pane. Manage the task level schedule modes. Schedule API support. Business Value: With traditional scheduling, you’re stuck using one mode for the entire project, even when tasks have different needs. That limitation adds extra work and leads to plans that don’t match reality. Task-level schedule mode changes that. You can pick the right mode for each task, no matter what the project default is. This flexibility helps you create accurate timelines, cut down on manual effort, and keep projects on track when scheduling requirements vary. Enabled for: Enabled by admins/makers/marketers for end users
