Collected exploitation and prediction evidence

Risk source coverage

CISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.

No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

cve-program · CVE-2026-44664

Published

fast-xml-builder builds XML from JSON. In 1.1.5, the fix for CVE-2026-41650 in fast-xml-parser sanitizes -- sequences in XML comment content using .replace(/--/g, '- -'). This skip the values containing three consecutive dashes (e.g., --->...), allowing an attacker to break out of an XML comment and inject arbitrary XML/HTML content. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.6.

EUVD source date text has no stated timezone and is retained without inventing a UTC instant. Related bulletin membership is not an alias, common cause or applicability claim. A missing vector with a zero score is treated as unrated. Complete vendor/product and underlying source evidence remains in the original JSON.

# Summary The fix for https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-gh4j-gqv2-49f6 in fast-xml-parser sanitizes `--` sequences in XML comment content using .replace(/--/g, '- -'). This skip the values containing three consecutive dashes (e.g., --->...), allowing an attacker to break out of an XML comment and inject arbitrary XML/HTML content. ### Impact Any application with comment property enabled allow attacker to inject malicious or unwanted code like JS script tag in the XML/HTML output. ### Workarounds Check for the presence of 3 consecutive dashes externally in the property value used for comment tag.
