Pion DTLS: Denial of service via panic while parsing a crafted ECDHE_PSK ServerKeyExchange message
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedIn github.com/pion/dtls/v3 before 3.1.4, MessageServerKeyExchange.Unmarshal does not verify that data remains after parsing the PSK identity hint when handling ECDHE_PSK key exchange messages. A remote peer sending a crafted ServerKeyExchange message where the PSK hint consumes all remaining data triggers an index out of range runtime panic, causing a denial of service.
