SFTPGo: Denial of service via malformed SSH channel request
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedSFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. Prior to 2.7.5, an authenticated SSH user can send a malformed protocol message while opening a channel, causing an unhandled error that terminates the server process and affects all connected users until restart. No confidentiality or integrity impact has been identified. This issue is fixed in 2.7.5.

EUVD source date text has no stated timezone and is retained without inventing a UTC instant. Related bulletin membership is not an alias, common cause or applicability claim. A missing vector with a zero score is treated as unrated. Complete vendor/product and underlying source evidence remains in the original JSON.

Published### Summary A flaw in the SSH service allows an authenticated client to crash the server by sending a malformed protocol message while opening a channel. ### Impact Any user able to authenticate over SSH can trigger an unhandled error condition that aborts the server process. This results in a denial of service affecting all connected users until the service is restarted. No confidentiality or integrity impact has been identified; the issue is limited to availability.
