Use-after-free with `CParameter::StableInBuffer`
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedWith `CParameter::StableInBuffer(true)` (`experimental` feature), the C library keeps a pointer to the input of one streaming call and reads from it in later calls, including `flush_stream` and `end_stream`, which take no input. An `InBuffer` only borrows its slice for one call, so safe code could free it in between, and freed memory was compressed into the frame. The C library behaves this way since zstd 1.5.4, whether bundled or linked from the system. The flaw was corrected by refusing to enable the parameter.
