Sickbeard build-507 Reflected XSS via testNaming pattern Parameter
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2020-37284
PublishedSickbeard through build-507 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject scripts through the pattern parameter of /config/postProcessing/testNaming. Attackers can craft GET requests with malicious SVG onload payloads that the testNaming handler returns unescaped, executing JavaScript in victims' browsers. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-22.
