Vyper before 0.3.0 Memory Corruption via Internal Function Calls in Arrays
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2021-48020
PublishedVyper from 0.1.0b4 before 0.3.0 contains a memory corruption vulnerability caused by an incorrect stack tip pointer when internal function calls are performed inside arrays. Contracts placing internal calls in nested array elements, external call arguments, struct literals, or raw_log topics can have memory corrupted, producing incorrect contract behavior.
