bpf: Check the helper function is valid in get_helper_proto
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedIn the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check the helper function is valid in get_helper_proto kernel test robot reported verifier bug [1] where the helper func pointer could be NULL due to disabled config option. As Alexei suggested we could check on that in get_helper_proto directly. Marking tail_call helper func with BPF_PTR_POISON, because it is unused by design.
