Extensions for Leaflet Map <= 5.4 - Unauthenticated Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via External GeoJSON Property
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-103485
PublishedThe Extensions for Leaflet Map plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'feature.properties[<template-token>]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that a site administrator has previously configured a public map using the [leaflet-map]+[leaflet-geojson]+[choropleth] shortcode combination whose GeoJSON src URL is one the attacker controls — for example, through compromise of an external data host, a subdomain takeover, or a site intentionally pointing at an attacker-hosted feed.
