CLI Bridge: High-severity sandbox escape via dangling symlink
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-111045
PublishedCLI Bridge provides filesystem access within a workspace root. Prior to 0.0.2, a dangling symlink pointing outside the workspace root bypasses resolveSafePath when fs.realpathSync throws ENOENT for a nonexistent target. The fallback resolves only the parent directory and returns the symlink path as safe, so write_file follows the link and can write arbitrary files outside the workspace root. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.2.
