Prime Slider <= 4.7.2 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content via Content_Guard Regex Quote-Escape
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedThe Prime Slider – Hero Slider, Carousel, WooCommerce & Post Slider Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because core wp_filter_kses leaves the submitted markup inert, but the plugin's subsequent regex fallback consumes closing quotes of allowed attribute values containing 'bdt-', promoting previously inert bytes — such as event handlers like onfocus — into real HTML attributes that are then written to the database and rendered without further sanitization.
