libdvdnav through 7.0.0 Out-of-Bounds Read via set_PTT JumpTT
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-112058
PublishedVideoLAN libdvdnav through 7.0.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in set_PTT that allows attackers to crash applications by supplying an invalid JumpTT title number checked only by an assert. Attackers can craft a DVD or disc image whose First Play program chain issues JumpTT with title 0 or an oversized number, reading past the heap title table and crashing the player.
