OpenBao before 2.6.3 Missing Header Check on Agent/Proxy Quit Endpoints
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-115364
PublishedOpenBao before 2.6.3 contains a missing authorization check that allows attackers to stop Agent and Proxy services by omitting the X-Vault-Header. When require_request_header is enabled, attackers can send requests via server-side request forgery to /agent/v1/quit or /proxy/v1/quit to shut down these services.
