ProjectSend 2.0.0 through 2.7.1 Incorrect Authorization via File Version Linking
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-116136
PublishedProjectSend 2.0.0 through 2.7.1 contains an incomplete authorization vulnerability in FileVersions::link() that allows staff users to share files without authorization by linking file versions. Attackers can link their file onto an intermediate revision or assign out-of-scope clients, causing moveAssignmentsToRoot() to expose protected original files to unauthorized clients.
