OpenRemote before 1.31.0 Cross-Realm Gateway Impersonation via Websocket
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-116184
PublishedOpenRemote before 1.31.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows realm admins to impersonate gateways in other realms because GatewayService only checks the gateway ID, not the realm. Attackers with WRITE:ADMIN in one realm can create a service user named after another realm's gateway ID to overwrite its descendant assets and open SSH tunnels into its local network.
