Kali-GPT through commit a608c74 OS Command Injection via MCP Scanner Tool Parameters
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-117569
PublishedKali-GPT through commit a608c74 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in execute_tool() in kali_gpt/tools/mcp_server.py that allows MCP clients to run commands via unsanitized scanner parameters. Attackers or prompt-injected agents can embed shell metacharacters in parameters like target, ports, domain, wordlist, or url, executed via subprocess.run with shell=True as the MCP server user.
