Cross-Site Scripting via Authentication Endpoint Error Message in Multiple WSO2 Products
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-11854
PublishedThe authentication endpoint generates an error message that includes reflected data directly from the request without sufficient sanitization or encoding. This allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts that can be executed in the context of a victim's browser. Successful exploitation enables an attacker to perform actions within the user's browser, such as redirecting the user to a malicious website, modifying the web page's user interface, or retrieving information. However, due to the httpOnly flag on session-related cookies, session hijacking or similar attacks are not possible.
