futex: Require sys_futex_requeue() to have identical flags
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-31554
PublishedIn the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Require sys_futex_requeue() to have identical flags Nicholas reported that his LLM found it was possible to create a UaF when sys_futex_requeue() is used with different flags. The initial motivation for allowing different flags was the variable sized futex, but since that hasn't been merged (yet), simply mandate the flags are identical, as is the case for the old style sys_futex() requeue operations.
