gpio: mvebu: free generic chips on unbind
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-72324
PublishedIn the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: mvebu: free generic chips on unbind irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips() allocates generic chip data that must be freed via irq_domain_remove_generic_chips(). The devres action mvebu_gpio_remove_irq_domain() only called irq_domain_remove(), which only frees the generic chips if IRQ_DOMAIN_FLAG_DESTROY_GC is set. Call irq_domain_remove_generic_chips() explicitly before irq_domain_remove() instead.
