x86/AMD: ineffectual Zenbleed workaround
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.

PublishedThe workaround for XSA-433 (Zenbleed, CVE-2023-20593) was later re-worked to better integrate with other manipulations of the same MSR. In this rework an inverted conditional was introduced, resulting in the workaround to not be applied when needed and vice versa. For more details, see: http://xenbits.xen.org/xsa/advisory-433.html
