SparkyFitness: Authenticated OS command injection (host RCE) via backup-restore filename in POST /api/admin/backup/restore
Collected exploitation and prediction evidence
Risk source coverageCISA KEV is observed exploitation evidence. FIRST EPSS is a dated prediction of exploitation in the next 30 days. Missing scores are unknown. This collector requests predictions only for explicit CVE aliases in the public NuGet archive; Microsoft release views retain their existing prediction scope.
No collected risk observation for these identifiers. This does not establish absence of exploitation or a zero probability.
cve-program · CVE-2026-92263
PublishedSparkyFitness is a self-hosted, AI-powered health and fitness tracker for families. Prior to 1.6.0, the api/admin/backup/restore endpoint interpolates an uploaded filename into a shell command. An authenticated global administrator uploads a restore archive with a crafted filename. The administrator can supply a restore archive with a filename containing shell metacharacters. Successful exploitation can execute arbitrary operating-system commands with the server process privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.0.
