Brave Software › Brave › Brave Software settings
Control De-AMP feature to bypass Google-hosted AMP pages.
Supported on Microsoft Windows 7 or later
What it does
De-AMP allows Brave users to bypass Google-hosted AMP pages and instead visit the content's publisher directly. This protects users' privacy, security and internet experience by preventing tracking and profiling users through AMP. If this policy is set to true, De-AMP will be enabled to redirect users away from AMP pages to the original publisher's content. If this policy is set to false, De-AMP will be disabled and users may visit AMP pages as served by Google. If this policy is left unset, De-AMP will be controlled by the user setting (enabled by default).

- The OMA-URI is an inferred ADMX-backed Policy CSP candidate derived from the source ADMX file name and policy name.
- Some Microsoft policies use built-in Policy CSP pages whose area names don't match the ADMX file name, so verify the candidate against Microsoft Learn before deployment.
