Dynamics 365 Project Operations: Import task - Assign generic resources to task

This feature gives project managers control over how resource assignments are handled when importing tasks from one project to another. For each import, project managers can choose to:

Not import the team members - Each imported task will lose the assignment information.

Use a generic placeholder: Create and assign a generic resource for each assignment in the imported task just like copy project functionality.

Tasks without assignments continue to be imported without resources. This ensures that both the task structure and its staffing plan can be reused in the target project.
